Like the LBD (Little Black Dress) or a red lip, red heels just hit differently. Whether it’s a red pump or red stilettos, red heels have a powerful effect on an outfit and your confidence level. One of Target’s newest red heels just so happens to be a red, strappy one and it looks very similar to a Steve Madden style. It’s just a fraction of the price.
Target’s women’s clothing and accessories brand, A New Day, dropped their Women’s Tamara Strappy Heels for $34.99 and they’re stunners. They’re also currently on sale for $27.99—as are all of Target’s shoes—until May 12 at 11:59 p.m. PST, which is even more of a steal. They have a 3-inch stiletto heel, faux leather fabric and a cushioned insole for comfort. The straps cross right above the toes and behind the ankle; they’re both connected by one thin strap down the middle of the foot.

These stilettos have an open D-toe design and come in a medium width. They come in a textured metallic gold color and black faux leather. They’re dainty yet sexy and even though they’re new and don’t have a ton of reviews, there are some favorable ones already.
“Nice shoe,” one customer wrote. “The shoe itself is comfortable the fit is perfect.”
Even though they had an issue with the straps, they still gave the heels 4 stars. Another reviewer who did give them 5 stars wrote that they were the “perfect red strappy stiletto.”
“Very sexy, and the back strap and tapered heel makes them very wearable,” they continued. “Could even go dancing in these! I’m returning to heels after not wearing them for years and these were an easy wear. Target is killing it in shoes right now.”
They have a good point there, and it doesn’t hurt that these look a lot like the Locke Red heels from Steve Madden.

They’re currently $99.95 and have a similar strappy look, D-toe shape and 3-inch stiletto heel. They are made with vegan leather and are a deeper, blood red than Target’s, which has an orange tint and looks more like a scarlet red.
So, if you were in the market for a simple yet chic strappy stiletto heel, then Target’s Women’s Tamara Strappy Heels by A New Day are definitely up your alley.
