Available in either red, blue or latte, this cast iron “essentials set” truly lives up to its aptly decided name. Included in the package is a Dutch oven with a self-basting lid to compliment it, and a cast iron pan with a silicone grip. With these three pieces, you can tackle just about any recipe — whether it be searing a steak, frying up some eggs, whipping up a hearty chili for the family or baking your favorite cinnamon roll recipe.
As far as the specs go, the Dutch oven is oven-safe up to 400°F and the cast iron pan is safe up to 500°F without its silicone grip. With the grip it will be safe up to 450°F.
