Israel-Palestine war Day 3 LIVE Updates: The Israel-Palestine conflict has entered its third day with a devastating toll, as the death count climbs to at least 1,300 people. Among the casualties are over 700 Israelis killed, with dozens taken hostage, and nearly 600 people dead in Gaza following relentless Israeli airstrikes. In latest update, Israel has ordered to immediately cut the water supply to Gaza. It also halted the food, fuel and power supply to Gaza. Israel has escalated its military presence, amassing one lakh troops, and the defence forces in its latest statement said that, “And it is this Hamas that we are, and will continue to attack until security is restored.”Palestinian military group Hamas on Monday said it wants to “liberate all Palestinian prisoners” from Israel and end Israeli provocations in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, particularly at Al-Aqsa Mosque. More than 1,23,000 people have been displaced in the Gazi strip as Israel airstrikes continue in the area, as per the the United Nations. Another 1,990 people have been wounded since fighting began on Saturday (October 7), according to Gaza Hamas-controlled health ministry. The fierce battle with Israel started after the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas fired thousands of rockets into Israel in a surprise dawn assault. Declaring a “state of war” war, Israel said it aims to evacuate residents around Gaza within 24 hours as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned of a “long and difficult” war ahead against the Palestinian militant group.
