Blood pressure lower than 90/60?

Here’s what you should do

Try mini meals. Consumption of meals  in small amounts, but with an increased frequency, can help people with hypotension. The break between meals is beneficial for keeping the right nutrients in your body and the pressure adequate

Increase your salt intake marginally,  as sodium can help elevate BP to  normal levels. You can also drink salt water (not too concentrated) to manage your blood pressure levels

Don’t change your position abruptly. You will feel dizzy and light-headed. This is called orthostatic hypotension or postural hypotension. Avoid sudden movements while sitting or standing

Avoid alcohol totally. Alcoholic beverages tend to lower blood pressure and must be avoided by those with hypotension

Stay hydrated to prevent excess reduction in the blood volume. Dehydration can raise the blood pressure. Keep a water bottle handy whenever you leave the house, as dehydration can be caused  by excessive heat and humid climate

Items containing caffeine, like coffee and green tea, can help in dealing with sudden drop in blood pressure. It can also increase the heart rate. Remember, don’t add too much sugar since it may suddenly elevate blood glucose levels too
